At a meeting on September 13, 2024, the Board of Directors of the Bank of Russia decided to raise the key rate to 19% per annum.

A competition is being held in Tatarstan to form a new composition of the Youth Government.

The acceptance of applications from suppliers for participation in the open auction has started. In the eight months of 2024, the volume of public procurement in the IT sector of Russia under Federal Law 44 increased by 8.7% and amounted to 200 billion rubles. 55,200 purchases were placed — 11.5% more than in the same period last year. At the same time, according to 223-FZ, the volume of purchases decreased by 9.8% and amounted to 72.77 billion rubles.
