History of the State Committee

In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan dated September 15, 2006 No. 469, the Department of public procurement of the Republic of Tatarstan was established.

In accordance with paragraph 2. The decree of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan dated March 20, 2014 № up-286 "On the transformation of Governance of public procurement of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Agency for tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan" the government procurement Office of the Republic of Tatarstan transformed into the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan on purchases, and also found that the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan on purchases is the successor of the office of state procurement of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan dated March 24, 2014 No. up-299 "on the appointment of O. A. Redko as the Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan on procurement" Olga A. Redko was appointed the Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan on procurement.

In accordance with the regulations of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for procurement, approved by decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan from 08.05.2014 № 307 "Questions of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan in the procurement of" State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan on purchases is the Executive body of state power of the Republic of Tatarstan of the interbranch competence, authorised to carry out functions to ensure (in cooperation with the Federal Executive authority on regulation of contract system in procurement of goods, works, implementation of the state policy in the field of procurement of goods, works, and services for the needs of the Republic of Tatarstan, organization of their monitoring, methodological support for the activities of customers engaged in procurement for the needs of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as the identification of suppliers (contractors, performers) for state customers and budget institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan dated June 09, 2021 No. UP-460 "On the appointment of R. N. Sabirov as the Chairman of the State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan" Sabirov R.N. was appointed Chairman of the State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan.
