Department of State Procurements of the Republic of Tatarstan operates on the basis of:

The State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan is a republican executive body of intersectoral competence, authorized to carry out functions to ensure (in cooperation with the federal executive authority for regulating the contract system in the field of procurement of goods, works, services) the implementation of state policy in the field of procurement of goods, works, services for the needs of the Republic of Tatarstan, the organization of their monitoring, on methodological support of the activities of customers engaged in procurement for the needs of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as on the identification of suppliers (contractors, performers) for state customers and budgetary institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan (clause 1.1. of the Regulations on the State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan).
