On October 11 and 12, 2023, in order to exchange experience between the regions, a delegation of the St. Petersburg Department of Social Nutrition visited the city of Kazan.

The State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan organized a business program, within the framework of which a visit to the Lyceum No. 146 "Resource" of the Novo-Savinovsky district of Kazan took place. The main idea of Lyceum No. 146 is to create a center for healthy nutrition, taking into account the rejection of semi-finished products and cooking on the principle of "here" and "now" with a daily assortment of three or more dishes, where students from 2nd to 11th grade are given the right to choose food with the opportunity to complete lunch for vegetarians (among high school students), children with disabilities, children with allergies or diabetes mellitus.

This menu was developed by JSC "Department of Food and Social Nutrition of Kazan" and approved by Rospotrebnadzor.

The experience of the Republic of Tatarstan in creating such socially important projects in the field of children's nutrition was highly appreciated by representatives of the Social Nutrition Department of St. Petersburg.

In addition, within the framework of the event, representatives of the regions visited the State Procurement Committee, the Agency for State Order of the Republic of Tatarstan JSC, the Bashir Rameev IT Park, the Food Department, and also took part in a round table together with representatives of the MCU "Directorate for Competition Policy and Procurement of the City of Kazan".

During the visit of the delegation of St. Petersburg to the State Procurement Committee, Chairman of the State Committee Ruslan Sabirov noted: "Holding such events allows both to take a fresh look at existing projects and develop methods for solving existing problems, and contribute to the development of interregional cooperation."
