The RT State Procurement Committee has announced an electronic auction for the purchase of residential premises for orphaned children and children left without parental care. 830.5 million rubles have been allocated for these purposes. The customer is the Ministry of Land and Property Relations of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In total, it is planned to purchase 183 residential premises in eight districts of the republic. The largest number of apartments — 111 — will be purchased in Kazan. Orphans in Nizhnekamsk (30), Agryzsky (22), Almetyevsky (15) and Verkhneuslonsky (2) districts will also receive housing. Another apartment is located in Bugulminsky, Vysokogorsky and Kamsko—Ustinsky districts.

Apartments should be between 24 and 36 square meters in size, with finishing touches, plumbing and a kitchen sink. It is forbidden to buy housing in basement and semi-basement floors, as well as in emergency houses. The minimum price for one apartment was 5.9 million rubles, the maximum was almost 9 million rubles.

The warranty period for each room is at least two years from the moment of signing the acceptance certificate. During this period, the contractor is required to carry out repairs and maintenance.

"This purchase is a significant step in solving the housing problem in the republic and a real help to those who are in particular need of it. All procedures are conducted in an open, competitive manner, which guarantees transparency and efficient spending of budget funds," said Marat Ziatdinov, Chairman of the State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan.
