Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation authorized to verify "goods of the Union State"

The Russian government has authorized the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation to verify the status of a "commodity of the Union State". 

The new function is assigned to the department as part of the implementation of Resolution No. 4 of the Council of Ministers of the Union State dated February 2, 2026, which regulates the procedure for assigning a special status to products of Belarusian and Russian manufacturers.

The status is planned to be assigned to industrial products produced jointly by enterprises of the two countries. The key condition is that each party's share in the production of the product must be at least 25%.
