Tatarstan is increasing its pace: GRP exceeded 5.7 trillion rubles
The State Council of Tatarstan discussed the results of the socio-economic development of the republic in 2025. Iskander Bagautdinov, Deputy Chairman of the RT State Procurement Committee, took part in the meeting.
Key indicators of Tatarstan's socio-economic development show steady growth. The volume of the gross regional product exceeded 5.7 trillion rubles (with an increase of 102.9%), the industrial production index was 109.9% compared to the level of 2024, and investments in fixed assets reached 1.67 trillion rubles (103.8%).
Special attention was paid at the meeting to the development of small and medium-sized businesses. As of January 1, 2026, 185.5 thousand subjects of the NSR were registered in the republic. The number of employed is 685.6 thousand people, and the number of self-employed has reached 447 thousand citizens.
Iskander Bagautdinov, Deputy Chairman of the State Procurement Committee, noted that it is important to synchronize procurement policy with the real needs of the economy, and transparent procedures and support for local producers are the key to the sustainable development of the region.
The committee also considered a draft law on amendments to the republican law on information systems.
