RT State Committee on Procurement organized an international session on public procurement at KazanForum 2026

The strategic session "Public Procurement: New Challenges and Exchange of Experience" was held within the framework of the XVII International Economic Forum "Russia – the Islamic World: KazanForum 2026". The organizers were the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Procurement and the Siberian Institute of State and Municipal Management (SibIGMU).

The discussion was attended by representatives of Russia, Turkey and the Republic of Belarus, as well as leading experts from federal agencies and large businesses. The session was moderated by SibIGMU Rector Tatiana Roerich.

Chairman of the State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Ziatdinov delivered a welcoming speech. He thanked the republic's leadership for supporting the forum and stressed the importance of international dialogue:
"Public procurement today is a strategic tool for economic development. In the context of sanctions restrictions, it is especially important to build international cooperation, share experiences and seek optimal balances between transparency and efficiency of procedures."

Speakers included Anna Katamadze (Deputy Head of the Russian Federal Treasury), Elena Dybova (Vice President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry), as well as representatives of the Public Procurement Council of Turkey, the Republic of Belarus, the State Procurement Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan and Gazprombank.

The participants discussed issues of international cooperation, cross-border supplies in the face of sanctions, the balance between transparency and administrative barriers, as well as the development of common approaches to procurement efficiency based on the experience of the three countries.
