Methodological recommendations for the evaluation of drug production have been approved

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has approved methodological recommendations for the evaluation of technological processes for the production of medicines in accordance with Resolution No. 719.

The main provisions:

– starting from July 1, 2026, the point system for assessing the level of localization of pharmaceutical products begins to operate

– to classify a medicinal product as a Russian industrial product, it is necessary to score at least 50 points for performing technological operations on the territory of the EAEU member states

The new rules are also taken into account when confirming the country of origin of goods in the framework of purchases (Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated December 23, 2024 No. 1875).
