Two tourist tents with maps and navigation will be built in Kazan for 3 million rubles.
The State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan has announced an electronic auction for the provision of volunteering services in the field of tourism and hospitality within the framework of the Hospitable Kazan project, one of the initiatives of the national project "Tourism and the Hospitality Industry". The initial (maximum) contract price is 3 million rubles. The customer is the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Tourism.
Two 3.5-meter-high tents will be installed in the city center. They will be decorated in the branded tourist style of "Visit Tatarstan". Information desks, furniture and navigation signs in Russian and English will be placed inside.
Russian russians will be able to print 22,000 maps for tourists: 16,000 maps of Kazan (in Russian and English) and 6,000 maps of the island-city of Sviyazhsk and Veliky Bolgar (in Russian, English and Tatar).
The work should be completed by May 31, 2026. The tents will remain in the center of Kazan all summer, and dismantling is scheduled no earlier than August 31. The contractor is also obliged to ensure the protection of facilities at night.
Applications for participation in the auction are accepted until May 20, 2026.
