The Ministry of Industry and Trade proposed to clarify the localization requirements for measuring equipment
The Ministry of Industry and Trade has prepared draft amendments to the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 719. The document is aimed at clarifying the rules for the recognition of domestic measuring instruments (sieves) and the procedure for their inclusion in the relevant register.
The main innovations:
– manufacturers will need to obtain an opinion on the conformity of products with the code of measuring equipment from state scientific metrological institutes
– for a number of products, points will be introduced for performing technological operations in Russia
– for some categories, phased requirements will be established: the localization level should be at least 70-75% in 2026 and increase to 80-90% in 2027
– instead of mandatory registration of technical specifications, the manufacturer has the rights to design and technological documentation for a period of at least 5 years.
According to the agency, the changes will make it possible to more reliably identify Russian measuring equipment and stimulate the development of its production in the country.
