Tatarstan entered the top 3 regions in terms of public procurement from small technology companies
By the end of 2025, the Republic of Tatarstan entered the top three regions of the Russian Federation with the largest number of MTK suppliers, second only to Moscow and St. Petersburg. The top five regions also included the Moscow Region, the Perm Territory, the Sverdlovsk Region, the Udmurt Republic and the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
According to the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, government customers increased the volume of purchases from small technology companies by 13% to 198 billion rubles. The number of MTS that have concluded contracts under 223‑FZ increased by 35% and exceeded 1.8 thousand. Purchases were carried out by more than 3.8 thousand companies with state participation.
The most in–demand products supplied by MTK from among small and medium—sized enterprises in 2025 were:
- software products - 26.5 billion rubles;
– machinery and equipment — 15 billion rubles;
– computer equipment — over 12 billion rubles.
"Thanks to systematic support measures, we are witnessing a steady increase in the number of MTCs in the republic and their involvement in government procurement," said Marat Ziatdinov, Chairman of the Tatarstan State Procurement Committee.
