The Central Bank lowered the key rate to 16% per annum

Starting from December 22, 2025, the indicator is 16%. The previous value – 16.5% – was set in October of this year.

The next meeting of the Board of Directors on the key rate is scheduled for February 13, 2026.

The size of the key rate is important, in particular, when charging penalties to customers and suppliers for late fulfillment of obligations under the contract in accordance with parts 5 and 7 of art. 34 of Law No. 44-FZ.
