An effective system of professional development of procurement specialists has been established in Tatarstan
Today, Tatar-inform News Agency hosted a press conference dedicated to the results of the development of the public procurement sector in the Republic of Tatarstan for 11 months of 2025. The report was made by Niyaz Gazeev, General Director of the RT Procurement Development Center JSC.
According to Niyaz Gazeev, the topic of professional development of procurement specialists is of strategic importance for the republic. In accordance with the instructions of the leadership of the Republic of Tatarstan, an integrated ecosystem of training and support of specialists based on the principles of continuous professional development has been created and is successfully functioning in the region.
"The effectiveness of the implementation of social, economic and infrastructural tasks, and most importantly, the quality of public funds management, directly depends on the training of contract managers today," said the head of the center.
Key results for 2025:
- More than 2,000 people have been trained at the Procurement Development Center of the Republic of Tatarstan
- The program of adaptation and development of young specialists "The Buyer. New Generation", which was attended by 34 students
- 5 graduates of the program have already been employed in specialized organizations
- Kazan became the venue for the First All-Russian Conference of educational organizations in the field of procurement, which brought together representatives of 27 subjects of the Russian Federation
. "An important feature of our educational model is the practical emphasis. We provide an opportunity not only to gain knowledge, but also to implement it in procurement systems. It is fundamentally important for us not only to train a specialist, but also to accompany him in his professional activities, providing consulting support and access to expert solutions," said Niyaz Gazeev.
The speaker called the holding of the First All-Russian Conference of Educational Organizations in the field of procurement in Kazan a significant event in 2025. According to him, the choice of the capital of the republic as a venue for such a significant federal event is not accidental. Tatarstan has traditionally been one of the leaders in the field of innovation and digitalization of public administration, including the procurement system. Thanks to the joint efforts of the participants, unified approaches to educational programs were formulated and agreed upon at the federal level for the first time.
