From Kazan to Lisichansk: Tatarstan shares best procurement practices with young specialists of the Luhansk People's Republic

7 November 2025, Friday

The RT State Procurement Committee has opened its doors to young professionals from the Luhansk People's Republic. Ekaterina Polyanichko and Daria Sidko, who work in the field of education and medicine, became the first representatives of the LPR in the educational program "The Buyer. A new generation." This became possible thanks to the inter-regional forum "Bridge of Unity", organized by the Youth Government of Tatarstan.

"This is not just training, but a bridge to new opportunities for our region. We have high hopes for the knowledge we have gained," said one of the participants of the program.

Immersion in the world of professional procurement will be comprehensive: from studying the legal framework to independently conducting real procurement procedures. A practical field seminar is also planned in Nizhnekamsk, where specialists will see the specifics of the regional procurement system.

"The public procurement system is not just procurement procedures, but a mechanism for the effective use of budget funds. We are glad that our experience can be useful to colleagues from the LPR and we are happy to share our accumulated experience," said Marat Ziatdinov, Chairman of the State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The Bridge of Unity Forum is being held for the first time – it is the result of regular trips, humanitarian missions, and close cooperation between Tatarstan and the sponsored cities of Lisichansk and Rubezhny. Participants will be introduced to innovative projects and Tatar culture. The forum will end on November 13.
