Today at The IV All-Russian Procurement Conference "Public Procurement 2025: Figure, Law, Competition" has started in Sochi. The event, initiated by the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia, brought together 550 participants from 50 regions of the country – heads of subjects, representatives of executive and legislative authorities, experts and companies with state participation. Tatarstan is represented at the conference by Chairman of the State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Ziatdinov.
Over the course of two days, the conference participants will discuss the most pressing issues of the application of procurement legislation in key industries.: from construction and healthcare to information technology, as well as the most important aspects of antimonopoly regulation.
"Public procurement is one of the key engines of Tatarstan's economy today. Due to the high level of competition, we have saved 4 billion budget rubles in the first 9 months of this year. In 2025, the public procurement system is focusing on new priorities — import substitution and support for domestic producers. The important legislative changes that came into force this year are aimed precisely at strengthening the positions of domestic companies in the market," Marat Ziatdinov commented on the situation in the republic.
A plenary session of the conference was held today, during which digital strategies and innovations in the field of procurement were discussed. Maxim Shaskolsky, Head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia, Artur Niyazmetov, Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Central Federal District, Kirill Purtov, Head of the Moscow City Department for Competition Policy, Andrey Kashutin, General Director of Roseltorg, Alexander Isaevich, General Director of SME Corporation JSC, addressed the participants.
