Awarding the winners of the republican Engineer of the Year contest in 2024, Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, noted the relevance of the knowledge and skills they possess.
"You are the future of our industry, the future of Tatarstan!" he stressed.
For 55 winners of the republican Engineer of the Year competition, an internship will be organized in advanced training programs in educational institutions located in the Russian Federation using the infrastructure of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University. More than 7.9 million rubles will be allocated for these purposes.
Information about the electronic auction was published by the Tatarstan State Procurement Committee. The customer is the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic.
The internship on "Practical innovations and strategic development of industrial R&D" will combine distance and full-time education with a total duration of 72 academic hours. The practical part of the program includes an introduction to the Polytechnic University's infrastructure, visits to leading engineering and research centers of industry partners, where participants will be shown the application of domestic innovative solutions in real conditions. Practical exercises and project work will be an important component.
Travel to and from St. Petersburg, accommodation, meals and a transfer in the northern capital will be arranged for the winners of the competition. At the end of the program, all interns will receive state-issued professional development certificates.
