The State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan summed up the results of the work of the state and municipal procurement system for eight months of this year. Budget savings at the conclusion of contracts amounted to 3.42 billion rubles.
According to the ministry, from January to August 2025, 41 493 contracts worth a total of 205.28 billion rubles were signed in the republic. Of these, a significant share fell on the support of small businesses: 25,172 contracts worth more than 32 billion rubles were signed by small business entities.
As noted in the State Committee, the savings of the republican budget were distributed as follows: regional customers saved 2.32 billion rubles (1.44% of the initial contract price), municipal customers – 1.1 billion rubles (4.9% of the initial price).
"The achieved indicators indicate the effective operation of the public procurement system in the Republic," commented Marat Ziatdinov, Chairman of the State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan. – It is especially important that the share of concluded contracts with small businesses continues to grow. This is not only budget savings, but also significant support for small businesses in the republic."
By the end of the year, the agency plans to strengthen efforts to increase transparency in procurement procedures and further expand small businesses' access to government and municipal orders.
