The Government extended the simplified import procedure until September 1, 2026

The Government has extended the simplified procedure for confirming the conformity of imported and marketed products. It will be valid for another year — until September 1, 2026. The relevant decree was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, the government said.

The measure was first introduced in March 2022, and then extended several times. The simplified procedure applies to spare parts for the maintenance or repair of machinery and equipment, components, components, raw materials and other products necessary for production.

Before that, exporters had to go through the certification procedure for goods. Now it is enough for them to provide declarations of conformity of goods without conducting additional laboratory tests.

The measure will help support businesses in the face of sanctions, the government noted. This way, entrepreneurs can avoid technical barriers when importing products into the country.
