Tatarstan will promote its tourism opportunities in Moscow and St. Petersburg
"Tatarstan has everything for the development of domestic tourism – a rich history, unique cultural and historical sites, and beautiful nature," said Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of Tatarstan.
The republic is preparing for an active advertising campaign in Moscow and St. Petersburg, which will aim to attract more tourists to the republic. 10.5 million rubles were allocated for the implementation of the project.
Information about the planned electronic auction was posted by the State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan. By the end of the year, the contractor needs to arrange the placement of advertisements about Tatarstan on tourist double-decker buses plying the streets of Moscow and St. Petersburg.
Each bus will travel daily, at different times of the day, covering famous landmarks. The work involves the design, installation and subsequent dismantling of the ads.
It should be noted that the annual flow of tourists in the republic reaches about 4 thousand people, while Tatarstan ranks seventh in the country in this indicator and is the leader among the regions of the Volga Federal District.
