Tatarstan's customers signed government contracts worth 161.9 billion rubles in the first half of 2025

n the first half of 2025, Tatarstan's regional and municipal customers signed more than 34,000 government contracts totaling 161.9 billion rubles. Effective management of procurement procedures has resulted in budget savings of 2.8 billion rubles. The information was announced at the weekly meeting of the RT State Procurement Committee.

The largest contract of the current period is related to the construction of the first section of the second line of the Kazan metro from Fuchika station to Sakharova station. The contract value was 1.92 billion rubles, and completion is scheduled for January 2026.

An important achievement was the economic efficiency of the government's procurement policy. During the six months of 2025, the State Committee conducted 240 centralized purchases with a total value of over 2.4 billion rubles. As a result of the procedures carried out in the first half of the year, it was possible to achieve a 4% reduction in budget costs, which in monetary terms exceeds 98.1 million rubles.

"Effective organization of procurement procedures has reduced budget costs. We see a positive trend in reducing the cost of large contracts, which confirms the correctness of the chosen direction of modernization of the public procurement system," said Marat Ziatdinov, Chairman of the State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan.
