The delegation from Uzbekistan gets acquainted with the experience of Tatarstan
The delegation of the Jizzakh region of the Republic of Uzbekistan arrived in Tatarstan to participate in the Forum "Russia – the Islamic World: Kazan Forum 2025". Within the framework of the visit, representatives of the delegation headed by the khokim of the region, Ulugbek Mustafoev, visited the Himgrad technopolis. The guests were accompanied by Chairman of the RT State Procurement Committee Marat Ziatdinov.
At the meeting, the guests were given a presentation, told about the activities of Khimgrad, its infrastructure, international projects and achievements. The delegation visited several enterprises, where they got acquainted with high-tech developments and production processes. In particular, the representatives of the delegation learned about the development process of lithium-ion batteries, saw how the interiors of passenger cabins of airplanes, gas metering devices, gas dynamic installations and equipment for scientific research are designed and manufactured.
"In 2023, with the participation of the Himgrad technopolis, a technopark was opened in the Jizzakh region of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which has become an important element in the development of innovative infrastructure and strengthening industrial cooperation between our countries. One of the main tasks of the technopark is to create favorable conditions for the localization of production of Russian enterprises," emphasized Marat Ziatdinov.
Today, the delegation will get acquainted with the work of the Alabuga special economic zone, and then take part in the international economic forum Russia — the Islamic World: KazanForum.
