Government customers will be allowed to change the terms of landscaping contracts: new bill
The State Duma is considering a bill that will allow government customers to change the essential terms of landscaping contracts by analogy with the rules in force in the construction sector. According to the provisions of the draft (paragraphs 1 and 2 of Article 1), customers will be able to:
- Increase or decrease the number of goods, works, or services.
- Specify the scope or types of work performed.
In addition, the bill provides for a new rule for changing the terms of construction control contracts. Customers will be able to exercise this right if the period of work under the main construction contract is changed (paragraph 4 of Article 1).
The new amendments are expected to enter into force on July 1, 2025 (article 2 of the draft).
