New opportunities and requirements of the procurement legislation were discussed at a zonal seminar in Chistopol
The zonal seminar in Chistopol became a platform for discussing topical issues related to changes in legislation in the field of public procurement and expanding opportunities for participation in procurement. The field educational event was organized by the RT State Procurement Committee in cooperation with the RT Procurement Development Center JSC. It was attended by more than 250 municipal customers and business representatives from Chistopolsky, Aksubayevsky, Alkeevsky, Alekseevsky, Nurlatsky and Novosheshminsky municipal districts.
"Such field seminars primarily provide access to up-to-date information. Public procurement is a complex field, but here specialists can gain a concentration of knowledge about new rules, trends and tools," said Marat Ziatdinov, Chairman of the Tatarstan State Procurement Committee, at the opening of the event.
Evgeniya Konanerova, head of the consumer cooperative Novosheshminskoye Regional Industrial Development, came to the seminar for new knowledge and mechanisms for business development. In her opinion, tenders and public procurement are becoming a significant source of income for small and medium-sized businesses.
"The state helps us a lot. We produce bakery and confectionery products. We got a car stall last year. We serve localities where there are no stationary stores. Now we are starting to use the opportunities of public procurement," Evgenia Konanerova shared.
The State Committee launched a series of zonal practical seminars directly on the ground back in 2024. Training has already been conducted for 20 municipal districts — on the territory of Sabinsky and Buinsky municipalities. The goal by the end of this year is to cover all municipal districts of Tatarstan.
"At the seminar, we learned quite a lot of relevant information that we use directly in our work. We discussed all the innovations in legislation, studied the practice that has already developed to date. We managed to clarify many of our concerns," said Tatiana Ganina, a participant in the seminar and head of the Centralized Accounting Department of the Executive Committee of the Chistopol district.
The participants of the seminar in Chistopol were told how to avoid the most common mistakes, demonstrated the resources of the republican marketing center, presented the mechanisms of claim work, explained the issues of purchasing certain categories of goods and services, and analyzed the main innovations of the rules of the national regime. In addition to the leading experts of the State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Procurement Development Center of the Republic of Tatarstan, Yakov Geller, General Director of the Agency for State Procurement of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Rezeda Sungatullina, representative of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, acted as speakers.
