Novice civil servants got acquainted with the work of the State Council
A seminar for novice government and municipal employees was held in the small hall of the State Council. Representatives of republican ministries and departments, employees of municipal offices, who are taking advanced training courses under the "Novice Employee School" program at the Higher School of Public and Municipal Administration of Kazan Federal University, got acquainted with the activities of the Tatarstan Parliament. Among the students is Fidan Shakirov, a leading specialist in the Department of analysis and provision of centralized procurement of the State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Secretary of the State Council Lilia Mavrina conducted the seminar. She informed the course participants about the legislative activities of the State Council, the work of relevant committees and commissions, factions and deputy groups, the powers of parliamentarians and their work in electoral districts. She stressed the great role of the Republican Parliament in providing legal guarantees in improving the quality of life of the population.
After the lecture, the audience was given a tour of the parliament building, during which they visited the library, the meeting room, the reception hall for delegations and the Museum of Parliamentarism.
