The forum brought together more than 2,000 representatives of federal and regional supervisory authorities from all regions of the Russian Federation, as well as heads of state corporations and leading experts in the field of procurement. In addition, delegates from seven BRICS and EAEU countries arrived in St. Petersburg. Iskander Bagautdinov, Deputy Chairman of the State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan, is taking part in the forum.
A plenary session was held within the framework of the forum, during which Vice-Governor Boris Piotrovsky made a welcoming speech. Russian Deputy Finance Minister Alexei Lavrov also took part in the plenary session. He said that next year the ministry will complete the transition of all public procurement to an electronic format.
The session ended with an open discussion, where participants were able to ask their questions. The forum will end on October 25.
