The State Procurement Committee of Tatarstan, together with the Procurement Development Center of the republic, held a seminar-meeting for state and municipal customers on the topic "Public Procurement - 2024: important and relevant". The seminar was attended by more than 250 customers, representatives of republican executive authorities, as well as subordinate institutions — in online and offline format.
"The State Committee conducts such seminars on an ongoing basis so that customers of the Republic of Tatarstan are always aware of the latest changes and technical aspects of the work, receive the necessary knowledge and skills. It is extremely important to comply with the basic principles of procurement, ensuring openness and transparency, effective procurement and, of course, improving the professionalism of customers, for which the educational event was organized," said Iskander Bagautdinov, Deputy Chairman of the State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan.
During the seminar, representatives of the State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan spoke about the main legislative changes, explained the issues of a structured description of the object of purchase and the law enforcement practice of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of the Republic of Tatarstan with examples, and also shared key aspects of the claim work. The participants discussed the emerging problems and typical errors faced by customers when making purchases in a single information system.
The next educational event of the state Committee will be held on September 10. It will focus on the effective participation of suppliers of goods and services in procurement.
