RT State Committee on Procurement participates in the Interregional Forum on Public-Private Partnership
The VII Interregional Forum on Public-Private Partnership is taking place in Kazan from August 19 to 20. More than 300 experts from 20 regions of the country gathered at the Bashir Rameev IT Park.
Deputy Chairman of the State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan Iskander Bagautdinov as an expert participates in the plenary session — PPP in Russia: to solve the "unsolvable", as well as in a strategic session in the format of a business game.
"A huge advantage of the PPP mechanism is the ability to significantly reduce budget expenditures and use the skills of private companies in infrastructure management. Public-private partnership allows you to attract funds from private investors, banks, development institutions with the support of subjects or municipalities. The trend towards the popularization of PPP is a step towards consolidating the work of business and the state," Iskander Bagautdinov stressed.
The event is organized by the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan, which is the authorized body for the implementation of PPP projects in the Republic. According to the press service of the ANO Directorate of International Programs, Tatarstan has sufficient experience in implementing PPP projects. The republic is among the top ten subjects of the country in terms of the development of public-private partnership in 2023.
