The Ministry of Industry and Trade clarified when the customer does not have the right to indicate additional characteristics when purchasing radio-electronic products

Representatives of the ministry note in their letter that the criteria for prohibiting the customer from indicating additional characteristics when describing the procurement object in this case are simultaneously:

- establishing restrictions on the admission of foreign products in accordance with Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated July 10, 2019 No. 878, as well as

- the presence in the position of KTRU (catalog of goods, works, services to meet state and municipal needs) characteristics. That is, the position must be presented in the catalog with a description.
