The requirements for elevator equipment have been adjusted to classify it as a domestic industrial product
The Government of the Russian Federation has updated the requirements for the total number of points in order to classify passenger elevators as products manufactured in the territory of the Russian Federation. In particular, according to the new version of Note 18 to the Requirements for industrial products for passenger elevators established by Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated 07/17/2015 No. 719, the following requirements are established:
- until December 31, 2024 - at least 110 points;
- from January 2025 - at least 120 points;
- since January 2026 - at least 130 points.
These changes will take effect on April 13, 2024.
Recall that Resolution No. 719 is applied, among other things, in order to ensure the implementation of prohibitions, restrictions and conditions for the admission of foreign goods to purchases in accordance with Parts 3 and Part 4 of Article 14 of Law No. 44-FL.
