The government advances purchases of mobile medical complexes and cars with medical equipment
On behalf of the President, the Government continues to work to increase the availability of medical care to residents of rural settlements and small towns of the country. In the near future, 67 regions will receive more than 250 mobile medical complexes and cars with medical equipment. The decree on the advance payment of such purchases was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. He announced the decision at a meeting with deputy prime ministers on November 20.
An advance payment at the conclusion of contracts for the purchase of medical complexes and specialized vehicles will be paid in the amount of 100%, which will make it possible to bring funds to manufacturers faster.
Almost 3.7 billion rubles have already been allocated from the Government's reserve fund for such purchases. With the help of these funds, 60 medical complexes for primary medical care, 44 complexes for preventive examinations and 99 for fluorography and mammography, as well as 50 vehicles equipped with medical equipment will be purchased. All equipment will be delivered to the regions at the end of 2023 – the first quarter of 2024.
The President instructed the Government to ensure the purchase of mobile medical complexes and cars with medical equipment for providing medical care and conducting preventive medical examinations of residents of rural settlements and small towns following the results of the Address to the Federal Assembly in 2023.
