On October 4, the III Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan opened

The III Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan is being held in the capital of Tatarstan. The event was organized on the eve of the meeting of the leaders of the two countries — Vladimir Putin and Shavkat Mirziyoyev. This year the Forum is being held in Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, at Kazan Expo. The event is organized by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The Forum is held to expand practical cooperation between the regions of Russia and Uzbekistan, business circles and organizations and is one of the largest bilateral public events in the economic sphere. Four thematic panel sessions are planned: "Transport and logistics partnership: Russia and Uzbekistan in the world of new challenges", "Expansion of cooperation between young entrepreneurs of Russia and Uzbekistan", "Tourist routes: opening Russia and Uzbekistan" and "Development of industrial clusters of Russia and Uzbekistan".

Chairman of the State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan Ruslan Sabirov personally participates in the Forum together with representatives of the Republic of Uzbekistan, among whom are Khokim of the Fergana region Khairullo Bozorov, assistant Khokim of the Fergana region Murodjon Khuzhakulov, Deputy Khokim of the Fergana region Ikboljon Ergashev and head of the Chamber of Commerce of the Fergana region Shokirjon Akhmedov. In addition, within the framework of the event, the Chairman of the State Procurement Committee Ruslan Sabirov organized a visit to the Technopolis "Himgrad" and the Bashir Rameev IT Park for the guests.
