The action plan for the transition of individual customers according to Federal Law No. 223 to the use of mainly Russian software has been approved

The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, in accordance with subparagraph "a" of paragraph 2 of the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of 08/22/2022 N 1478 and paragraph 2 of the Rules approved by the said resolution, approved an industry action plan to ensure the readiness of customers engaged in procurement in accordance with Federal Law N 223 (with the exception of organizations with municipal participation), to the use of Russian software, including as part of software and hardware complexes, on the significant objects of the critical information infrastructure of the Russian Federation belonging to them (hereinafter referred to as the Plan). This document extends its effect to customers engaged in activities in the field of mining, metallurgy, rocket and space, defense, chemical industry and the use of atomic energy and establishes, among other things, requirements for the share of domestic software used in the activities of customers. In addition, the Plan defines measures for organizational and regulatory support of the readiness of the transition of customers to the preferential use of domestic software.

The order of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia dated 06.03.2023 N 722 comes into force on August 21 of this year.
