The energy efficiency requirements for televisions have been relaxed in order to purchase them under Federal Law No. 44
According to the new version of paragraph 1 of Section II of the Energy Efficiency Requirements approved by the order of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation dated 22.03.2021 N 131, the requirements for the energy efficiency class for televisions have been lowered from "A++" and higher to "A" and higher.
The relevant changes will come into force on June 13, 2023.
It should be recalled that the energy efficiency requirements established by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia are subject to application by customers in relation to goods, works, services when making purchases to meet state and municipal needs, except in the case of their incompatibility when interacting with goods used by a state or municipal customer (paragraphs 1-2 of the Rules for Establishing Energy Efficiency Requirements for Goods, Works, services in the implementation of procurement for state and municipal needs, approved by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated 31.12.2009 N 1221).
