The Ministry of Finance explained the procedure for changing the terms of contracts for design and survey work

The Agency noted that the contract price is an essential condition, and its change is allowed only in cases directly provided for by Law No. 44-FZ (Part 2 of art. 34, part 1 of art. 95).

However, for contracts concluded before January 1, 2027, there is a transitional provision – Part 65.1 of Article 112 of Law No. 44-FZ. It allows customers, if reasonably necessary, to change the terms of such contracts even in the absence of the grounds listed in art. 95.

Thus, customers do not need to make changes to the legislation – it is enough to use the existing transitional period mechanism.
