The government has reduced the payment terms for state contracts for some customers
From May 14, when concluding contracts in 2021, federal customers must provide for a payment deadline of 10 working days from the date of signing the acceptance document. Innovations are not applied, for example, in contracts for the needs of the defense and security of the state under a number of conditions.
In contracts that must be executed in December 2021 and (or) December of the following financial years, you must specify a special payment period:
no later than 1 working day before the end of the financial year within the LBO for such a year, if the execution fell from the 1st to the 20th day inclusive;
in the next financial year within the LBO for the next financial year, if the execution is scheduled from the 21st to the 31st day inclusive.
The rules for "December" contracts do not apply, in particular, in a number of purchases from a single supplier.
The requirements for payment deadlines should also be taken into account in other cases, for example, in contracts for regional and municipal needs, if the obligations under them were co-financed from the federal or regional budget.
