A competition was announced among the media for the best coverage of public procurement issues.

The state Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan on purchases, Republican Agency for press and mass communications "Tatmedia" and the State unitary enterprise RT "procurement development Center of the Republic of Tatarstan" hold a Republican contest for the best coverage in mass media of questions of functioning of the contract system in procurement of goods, works, services for state and municipal needs.

Purpose of competition:

- raising public awareness about the functioning of the contract system in the field of procurement, openness and transparency of information in the field of procurement;

- stimulating public discussion of the functioning of the contract system in the field of procurement, improving the efficiency of budget funds, creating a competitive environment, stimulating innovation;

- attracting the attention of national producers to the issues of participation in procurement for state and municipal needs;

- attracting the attention of small businesses, socially oriented non-profit organizations, organizations of disabled people, institutions and enterprises of the penal system to the issues of participation in procurement for state and municipal needs.

To participate in the competition are accepted works published (published) in the period from January 1, 2019 to November 15, 2019 and meet the objectives of the competition.

Entries are accepted until 18.00 on November 15, 2019 inclusive.
