18 May 2026, Monday

The State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan has started training on the adaptation program "Buyer. A new generation." The project is being implemented jointly with JSC "Procurement Development Center" and the Youth Government of the Republic.

Chairman of the Tatarstan State Procurement Committee Marat Ziatdinov, his Deputy Maria Almazova, Director General of the Procurement Development Center JSC Niyaz Gazeev, as well as Kirill Kuvshinov, a representative of the Youth Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, delivered welcoming speeches at the opening ceremony.

Marat Ziatdinov noted that the profession of a buyer requires not only knowledge of procedures, but also an understanding of economics, law and ethics. "Today, the republic lacks more than two hundred such specialists. We are looking for those who want to develop the field of procurement, and not just to master the position," he stressed.

After the official part, the students went to the first lectures. 10 students and young professionals participated in the program. For three days, they will attend face-to-face classes with leading industry experts. Then they will have to complete a creative task – to develop a project based on the studied material. At the end of the course, all students will receive certificates, and the best graduates will go to a field seminar of the State Committee based on the results of project defense. The training is free.

The organizers note that the program has already proved its effectiveness — five graduates of the previous stream are employed in the field of procurement.
