On 07/29/2024, Decree No. 1009 of the Government of the Russian Federation dated 07/25/2024 (hereinafter referred to as the resolution) was published, which amends the Rules for the Formation of Lists of Medicines for Medical Use and the minimum range of medicines required for medical care.

In particular, the resolution amends the criteria for including a medicinal product in the List of Vital and Essential Medicines (hereinafter referred to as the List), and also supplements cases of exclusion of medicines from this List.

The resolution comes into force after 7 days from the date of its official publication.
