In the second stage of selection of symbols for new banknotes of the Bank of Russia there have passed 3 symbols of the city of Kazan

The main building of the Kazan (Volga) federal university, the Kazan Kremlin and the Kul Sharif mosque were among the symbols which are selected in the second stage of selection of symbols for new banknotes of the Bank of Russia by advantage in 200 and 2000 rubles.

The all-Russian selection of symbols for new banknotes advantage of 200 and 2000 rubles has been initiated by the Bank of Russia. For the first time in the history of the country Russians can independently offer and choose that shall be represented on new bank notes. Selection takes place in three stages and will come to the end on October 7, 2016. This day winners of tender will be declared.

The second stage of selection of symbols will be extended from August 5 to August 30 and will cover all territory of the country - from Sakhalin to Kaliningrad and from Murmansk to Derbent.

In total 76 symbols from 49 cities have passed in the second stage of selection of symbols for new banknotes of the Bank of Russia.

We invite all Tatarstaners and guests of the republic to take part in the second stage of selection which is carried out in the form of the all-Russian poll "Studying of preferences of citizens of the Russian Federation in case of the choice of the cities and their symbols for the image on new banknotes of Russia" Public opinion Fund and to give the vote for symbols of the city of Kazan: Main building of the Kazan (Volga) federal university and Kazan Kremlin.
