It is impossible to terminate the contract because of a change of course of currencies

Refusal of the customer to terminate the contract by agreement of the parties is lawful because the price of the delivered goods sharply grew because of rate fluctuation of currencies. The court came to such conclusion.

The supplier insisted that the essential change of course was force majeure circumstance. Its position was confirmed by the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The court rejected these arguments. The Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry can advise concerning drawing up certificates on force majeur circumstances, but give out them only the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation has the right.
