Control of public procurement: innovations

Since 2012, the Main Control Directorate of Moscow exists like a single agencies, which deals with the control of procurement and public financial control, implementation of these functions in a single body is most effective when implementing control functions in accordance with the law of the contract system 44-FL, which provides control of the whole procurement cycle activities from planning to implementation of the contract.

The State Council of Tatarstan discussed the results of the socio-economic development of the republic in 2025. Iskander Bagautdinov, Deputy Chairman of the RT State Procurement Committee, took part in the meeting.
According to the results of the first quarter of 2026, the savings of the republican budget amounted to 1.17 billion rubles, which is 1.6% of the total. In just three months, more than 18,000 contracts worth over 80 billion rubles were signed. Such data was announced at a meeting in the RT State Committee on Procurement.
The Agency has developed a document that establishes a unified approach to verifying customer notifications of contracts with a single supplier. In fact, such notifications are now an independent basis for control in the field of procurement.
