Proposed to establish a ban on the purchase and use of the public sector in the most environmentally and economically inefficient lighting technologies.
Changes made to the Regulation establishing the energy efficiency of goods, works and services, placing orders which made for state and municipal needs, provides for a ban on the purchase of:
• electromagnetic ballasts for fluorescent lamps;
• Halophosphate linear fluorescent lamps Low-pressure standard T12, T10 and T8 with G13 socket on July 1, 2015 .;
• high pressure mercury lamp DRL type with base E40 and E27 from January 1, 2016 .;
• fluorescent lamps with integrated ballast (compact fluorescent lamps);
• luminaire for linear fluorescent lamps with low pressure 1 January 2016.
According to the developers of the project, these measures will stimulate the budgetary organizations to purchase energy efficient alternatives, including through extrabudgetary funds to improve the quality and efficiency of public sector and reduce the negative impact on the environment.
