The State Duma has given the right to purchase special equipment from a single supplier for the External Intelligence Service and the Federal Security Service

The State Duma adopted the law giving Russian External Intelligence Service and the Federal Security Service the right to purchase special equipment for their activities from a single supplier and no independent examination. The document was adopted by the deputies in the second and third reading.
The law allows for procurement of goods, works and services in order to ensure enforcement Russian External Intelligence Service means of intelligence activities, and the Federal Security Service agents counterintelligence and counter-terrorism with a single supplier. The contract in this case can be made in any form, the customer has the right to require enforcement of the contract notice on the implementation of the procurement or in the draft contract.
Lists of goods, works and services, procurement which can be carried out with a single supplier, will be approved by the leaders respectively foreign intelligence organ and the FSB. This eliminates the mandatory independent examination of the delivered goods, works, services rendered.
The Ministry of Construction of Russia has published a document that introduces changes to the Methodology for determining the cost of work on the preparation of project documentation (approved by Order No. 707/pr dated 01.10.2021).
Over the past week, the State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan placed 7 purchases totaling 134.3 million rubles. This was announced today at the weekly meeting in the department.
