Russian Economic Development Ministry has prepared a draft of the professional standard of "specialists in the procurement sphere"

The project is the professional standard prepared The Economic Development Ministry of Russia, contains, a description of the labor functions of specialists in procurement, the requirements for the formation of such an employee, the terms of admission to work.

The provisions of this standard can be used:

- Employers in the development of job descriptions, the formation of a service contract (appointment contract manager), the organization of training and certification of personnel;

- Educational organizations in the development of vocational training programs in the sphere of public and municipal  procurement;

- The authorized agencies in the development of federal state educational standards of professional education.

Currently, the employer must apply professional standard only if, in accordance with the Labor Code or other federal laws, the execution of works for certain positions, professions, occupations linked to the provision of compensation and benefits, or the presence of restrictions (Art. 57 of the LC RF). With regard to the consideration of such a degree of compensation, benefits or limitations not found.

Is currently considering a draft professional standard passed the stage of public discussion.
