Russia's Finance Ministry proposes to turn down the public procurement of luxury goods

The Ministry has prepared a draft resolution by which the federal authorities will be able to set requirements for consumer properties and other characteristics they purchase goods and services. In addition, such requirements will be able to set controls the state budget funds of the Russian Federation, their territorial agencies (departments).

These requirements should ensure that federal needs and to exclude the purchase of goods, works and services that are over consumer properties (ergonomic, aesthetic, technological, etc..) Or are luxury items, in accordance with the law.
