Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation will inform the FAS Russia about violations in the sphere of competition law and public procurement

Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation and the FAS Russia signed an agreement on cooperation. The corresponding document was signed at a meeting of the Board of the Accounting Chamber.

The agreement is aimed at improving the efficiency of the joint activities of the Chamber and the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia in the areas of:

protect national economic interests;
detect and deter violations of the antitrust laws and public procurement;
increase the effectiveness of targeted and effective use of the federal budget and the budgets of state extra-budgetary funds.
FAS Russia will inform the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation about the known facts of violations of the use of funds from the federal budget and the state budget funds and the federal government. The Russian Audit Chamber will inform the FAS Russia about identified during inspections signs of violations in the field of competition law and public procurement.

"The feasibility of signing of the agreement is obvious, since the new legislation Audit Chamber was empowered to verify the federal contract system," - said the Chairman of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova.
