The State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan has announced an electronic auction for research work on the modification of a hyperspectral system for scanning and visualizing fading texts. 6 million rubles have been allocated for these purposes.
The customer is the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Archival Affairs.
The project provides for the creation of an improved hyperspectral system based on the FigSpec-13 camera. The main advantage of the development is a special LED lighting system that reduces the thermal impact on documents by three times, as well as improves the quality of the data received by at least 5 times. After the upgrade, it will be able to scan documents up to A2 (currently no more than A4) and weighing up to 5 kg instead of 0.5 kg.
At the same time, software will be created that will allow you to automatically adjust images, improve the visibility of fading texts, and save processing results. The program's interface will support zooming and brightness adjustment, which will greatly simplify working with archival materials.
Applications for participation in the auction are accepted until May 25, 2026.
