Over 27,000 state and municipal contracts totaling 141.5 billion rubles were signed in Tatarstan in the first five months of 2026. Budget savings amounted to 1.59%, which is 2.12 billion rubles. Such data were announced at the weekly meeting of the RT State Committee on Procurement.
Regional customers reduced their expenses by 1.78 billion rubles (1.43%). Municipal customers have saved 0.34 billion rubles, with savings reaching 3.78%.
The largest project was a contract for 3.9 billion rubles for the construction of roads in the republic. Small businesses are also actively involved in procurement: since the beginning of the year, small businesses have concluded 15.8 thousand contracts worth 21.2 billion rubles.
"Competitive procedures are the main mechanism for reducing prices in public procurement. Therefore, our most important task is to ensure healthy competition and equal access for all participants," said Marat Ziatdinov, Chairman of the Tatarstan State Procurement Committee.
