The Tatarstan State Archives Committee will create a multimedia portal with archival documents and interactive maps
The Tatarstan State Procurement Committee has announced an electronic auction for the development of a multimedia portal that will combine archival materials, interactive routes through historical sites, and thematic maps. A total of 11.5 million rubles will be allocated for this purpose. The customer is the Tatarstan State Archive Committee.
The portal will combine digital copies of archival documents (paper, film, photo, video, and audio materials) from the Tatarstan State Archive, municipal archives, as well as from institutions and individuals.
The system will allow users to create interactive routes through historical sites, linking documents to points on the map, search the electronic catalog, and filter content by type. Personal accounts with the function of moderating publications are provided for the archive staff.
The main goal is to provide open access to archival materials, increase interest in the cultural and historical heritage of Tatarstan, and preserve historical accuracy based on authentic sources.
